Big hype, little substance

Breakfast was diverse, yet not truly remarkable. Staff were helpful, but I expected more consistent service. The location was ideal within walking distance to transport, yet the amenities felt average, especially for the price. All in all, a bit overrated.

All fine, but service issues

During my stay at Hotel Jal City Aomori, I was impressed by the spaciousness of my room and the comfortable bedding. The breakfast buffet offered an excellent variety of fresh, high-quality dishes, making it a highlight of my mornings.

The entire property feels outdated and in desperate need of a renovation!!! requiring guests to borrow one from friends is simply poor service!!!

Had a lovely time here! The breakfast spread was impressive, with plenty of both Asian and Western options, and I really appreciated the spotless bathroom. A small hiccup was that the check-in took a bit longer than I'd like, but overall, it was a fantastic stay! 😊

Additionally, the staff demonstrated exceptional service, assisting with logistics and providing a friendly atmosphere despite the busy holiday season.

Enjoyed the convenience of a mini fridge and laundry service. However, the bathroom had some drainage issues that were off-putting. The hotel is only a short walk from the train station and major attractions like the Nebuta Museum and shopping areas, making it a smart choice for sightseeing. Some staff interactions felt slow, which added slight inconvenience during check-in and taxi arrangements, but overall, the helpful service redeemed the experience.
